Empowering Educators with Gen AI Training
The purpose of AI Simplified for Educators is to provide sound, well informed and up to date advice and guidance on Gen AI. Professor Jim O'Mahony MSc, PhD, SFHEA has over 30 years of lecturing experience at third level and is a recognised specialist in Teaching and Learning.
Additionally, Jim is co-chair of MTU’s working group on Generative Artificial Intelligence and is also a member of the National Advisory group on Generative AI for the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning.
Jim also works closely with the NAPD, providing bespoke training sessions for Principals and Deputy Principals in Ireland on the responsible use of Gen AI within the Secondary school system.
